We are seeking a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic Training Advisor / Assessor to join our Children's Workforce team based in Carlisle and support our Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship programme . You should ideally be qualified (A1 or equivalent) although training will be given if required.  You should have teaching assistant qualifications at L3 or above, coupled with experience of working in either primary / secondary education for a minimum of three years.   Any other experience within the training environment such as supporting maths/English/functional skills would be desirable although not essential. You will be responsible for a caseload of learners  who you will meet with and support on a regular basis.  This will be through group / individual one-to-one sessions in our training centres, via our e-leaning applications and on a one-to-one basis in the learners' workplace. The position is  full time however, job share will be considered where applicants wish to work part time. You will need to be prepared to travel throughout North and West Cumbria and maintain high success rates in excess of 84%.  Current driving license and car essential.  In return we offer a competitive salary, on-going training and development and a friendly working environment.
