Role / Duties: General administration work including:
  • Using a computer to reconcile incoming payments
  • Assist with month end procedures
  • Handling internal and external telephone queries in efficient and professional manner
  • Provide copies of invoices to customers
  • Data input , process payments using credit cards over phone
  • General office duties, filing of invoices , statements and other documentation
  • Posting invoices to sales ledger
  • Act as a team member, assisting the credit controllers and contributing to the efficient organisation of the credit control department
  • Providing excellent customer service 
Required Skills / Experience/ Personal Qualities:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 4 GCSE pass or equivalent including Maths and English & interest in Business Admin
  • Good interpersonal, customer service and telephone manner skills 
  • IT & keyboard skills, great oral and written communication
  • Competent using Microsoft Office, Word Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
Prospects: To progress onto a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
Training Involved: Apprenticeship – 12 month programme of work based learning where you will gain the following qualifications:
  • Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration
  • Functional Skills English Level 1
  • Functional Skills Maths Level 1
  • Functional Skills ICT Level 1
  • Employer Rights and Responsibilities Workbook
  • Personal Learning Thinking Skills

Days/Hours: 9 .00am - 5.00pm     37.5 hours
