Role / Duties:
This role will include:
18+ Minimum age
  • Working as part of a team
  • Supporting individuals either in their own home, whilst living with family, participating in daytime tasks and activities and accessing their local community.
  • Weekend and evening work would be expected
  • Support individuals with personal care, budgeting, shopping, cleaning and managing their tenancy.
  • Attending medical appointments
  • Social activities
Required Skills / Experience:
For this job role you will need the following:
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Patient and understanding
  • Non judgemental
  • Be a good listener
  • Have the ability to offer support in a person centred way putting the individuals needs first
  • Be able to complete paperwork such as daily diaries and finance books
  • A full clear DBS check will be carried out by the employer
Prospects: To progress within the company & go on to a Level 3 Apprenticeship
Training Involved: Intermediate Level Apprenticeship (Level 2)

The RWP Training Intermediate Level Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care will offer you a 12-15 month programme of work-based learning where you will gain the following qualifications:
  • City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (QCF) 
  • City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care (QCF) 
  • Functional Skills Maths Level 1 
  • Functional Skills English Level 1 
  • ERR Workbook 
  • PLTS
  • Be Safe
Days/Hours: 30 hours per week
