Role / Duties:

Working as part of the business support unit, you will provide administration and receptionist support across all advice access channels and delivery centres as directed by the Business Support Co-Ordinator. 

  • Be first point of contact for clients and visitors
  • Provide information
  • Use office equipment
  • Answer telephones and take messages
  • Reception duties
  • Respond to emails
  • Word process letters, documents and reports
  • Maintain spreadsheets
  • Deal with incoming and outgoing post
  • Diary management
  • Maintaining security & confidentiality 
  • Providing excellent customer service 
Required Skills / Experience/ Personal Qualities:
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Maths and English GCSE A*-D or 9-4
  • Good interpersonal skills 
  • IT & keyboard skills 
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
Prospects: To progress onto a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
Training Involved: Apprenticeship – Minimum 12 month programme of work based learning where you will gain the following qualifications:
  • Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner
  • Functional Skills English Level 1 
  • Functional Skills Maths Level 1 
  • Employment Rights and Responsibilities are embedded into the apprenticeship.
