Pay: Minimum £3.50 per hour (Apprenticeship Wage)
Role / Duties: General administration work including:
  • Providing a welcoming point of initial contact to the service
  • Deal with enquiries effectively and efficiently, identifying the reason for the enquiry and referring it to other colleagues or agencies where appropriate
  • Providing appropriate information
  • Recording individual and maintaining service information
  • Understanding and accurately inputting data onto relevant contract systems to ensure activities and contacts are recorded and can be evidenced
  • Maintain careers and related information and resources.
  • Receive incoming calls in a sensitive and professional manner, ensuring messages are taken and forwarded accurately or callers referred appropriately.
Required Skills / Experience/ Personal Qualities:
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Maths and English GCSE A*-D or 9-4
  • Good interpersonal skills 
  • IT & keyboard skills 
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
Prospects: To progress onto a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
Training Involved: Apprenticeship – 12 month programme of work based learning where you will gain the following qualifications:
  • Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration
  • Functional Skills English Level 1
  • Functional Skills Maths Level 1
  • Functional Skills ICT Level 1
  • Employer Rights and Responsibilities Workbook
  • Personal Learning Thinking Skills
  • Be Safe
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
