Role / Duties: Under the direction/instruction of the Business Leadership Team (BLT) to provide general administrative support to the Trust, including answering the phones and meeting and greeting visitors:
  • Provide administrative services including meeting and welcoming visitors, answering the telephone, receiving information requests by email.
  • Deal with routine inquiries in a friendly and helpful way. Where necessary, direct the calls to the appropriate staff or take messages and pass them on efficiently and accurately.
  • Carry out electronic and paper based filing, and other routine clerical tasks for the members of the Business Leadership Team.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing post.
  • Update governance records on websites such as Edubase and Companies House.
  • Ensure office noticeboards are up to date.
  • Conference/Meeting Room bookings, setting up rooms and ordering refreshments.
  • Arrange the diary of the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer under the guidance of the PA to CEO.
  • Provide administrative support to HR processing.
  • Ensure BLOGS are updated on Firefly, following monitoring meetings of the BLT.
  • Monitor Trust mailboxes, such as Executive Headteacher, Main Office & Yewdale Conference Room mailbox.
  • Collate CASL invoices ensuring payments are made in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.
  • Comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to the appropriate person.
Required Skills / Experience/ Personal Qualities:
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • 5 GCSEs A*-C or 9-4 including Maths and English
  • Good IT Skills
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults
  • Polite, friendly and cheerful personality with a commitment to helping people and providing a service
  • Enthusiastic to learn new skills
Prospects: To progress onto a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
Training Involved: Apprenticeship – 12 month programme of work based learning where you will gain the following qualifications:
  • Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm
