Role / Duties: You will be working on Sales Ledger Accounts in a large firm and your duties will include;
  • Processing and allocating payments on customer's accounts
  • Balancing accounts
  • Opening new customer accounts
  • Processing customer payments over the telephone and in person
  • Communicating with customers 
  • Dealing with queries from customers and different branches
Required Skills / Experience/ Personal Qualities:
  • Maths and English GCSE A-C Grade
  • IT & keyboard skills 
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets and Word preferred but not essential
  • Polite and Friendly
  • Able to understand and adhere to customer confidentiality and data protection policies
Prospects: To progress onto a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
Training Involved: Apprenticeship – 12 month programme of work based learning where you will gain the following qualifications:
  • Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration
  • Functional Skills English Level 1
  • Functional Skills Maths Level 1
  • Functional Skills ICT Level 1
  • Employer Rights and Responsibilities Workbook
  • Personal Learning Thinking Skills
  • Be Safe
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm
