Role / Duties:To train as a Business Administration Apprentice, contributing to the overall cost effective and efficient operation of the office, providing confidential administrative support and assistance.
  • Collecting and distributing mail daily, collecting via the Post Office when necessary
  • Collecting and delivering the DX and any other local deliveries and collections from other firms of solicitors, banks, building societies etc
  • Assisting in general administrative and office routines such as photocopying, scanning and filing
  • Maintain an efficient filing system to ensure rapid retrieval of correspondence and information
  • Assisting in attending to the reception desk when required, including welcoming visitors and clients and ensuring that accurate details of name and purpose of the visit are noted and the appropriate person informed. Escorting clients and visitors to their destination within the building. Maintaining a log of meeting room bookings via Outlook.
  • Draft routine correspondence and generate standard documents in accordance with instructions.
  • Operate office equipment such as desktop computer, fax, photocopier, digital dictation system.
Required Skills / Experience:
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English Grade A*-C
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organised
  • Punctual
  • Experience of greeting and communicating clients and visitors and working in a team

Training Involved: Apprenticeship – 12 month programme of work based learning where you will gain the following qualifications:

Days/Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (1 hour lunch)
