Role / Duties: General administration work including:
  • Checking RMS System Daily and printing new applications.
  • Inputting paper based applications to the RMS System on arrival, keeping the RMS system up to date with details from minute sheets and keeping the system updated at all times.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external colleagues using telephone, memos, e-mail and other electronic communication.
  • To arrange and administer initial assessments for new applicants.
  • To prepare profiles for successful applications.
  • Booking rooms for Business Development.
  • Assist with organising candidates interviews with employers.
  • Check and submit weekly reports to SMT.
  • To provide refreshments to Business Development Team and visitors as required.
  • To accompany the Learner & Employer engagement officer at schools and career fairs to make young people aware of apprenticeships offered.
  • Assist in the deign and development of marketing materials.
  • To keep a stock of pre-prepared employer folders for employer visits.  
Required Skills / Experience:
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • GCSE A-C in both Maths and English
  • Good interpersonal skills 
  • IT & keyboard skills 
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
  • Organised
  • Enthusiastic
  • Willing to learn

Training Involved: Apprenticeship – 12 month programme of work based learning where you will gain the following qualifications:
  • Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration
  • EDI Level 2 certificate in Principles of Business and Administration (5 units tested by multiple choice exams)
  • Functional Skills English Level 1
  • Functional Skills Maths Level 1
  • Functional Skills ICT Level 1

Days/Hours: 37.5 Hours per week.
