Pay: Minimum £3.30 per hour (Apprenticeship Wage)
Role / Duties: Duties for this role will include:
  • Maintaining a tidy post room, conference room and other public areas.
  • Delivering any urgent hand deliveries.
  • Preparing facilities for lunches, meetings ETC.
  • Photocopying and other duties to assist secretarial staff
  • Trips to Cash and Carry when needed
  • Covering reception when necessary - staff sickness, holidays ETC.
  • Helping out generally around the post room.
  • Assisting with secretaries mail.
  • Banking duties and delivering signed cheques internally.
Required Skills / Experience:
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • GCSE pass or equivalent in Maths 
  • Good interpersonal skills 
  • IT & keyboard skills 
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
Prospects: To progress onto a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
Training Involved: Apprenticeship – 12 month programme of work based learning where you will gain the following qualifications:
  • Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration
  • EDI Level 2 certificate in Principles of Business and Administration (5 units tested by multiple choice exams)
  • Functional Skills English Level 1
  • Functional Skills Maths Level 1
  • Functional Skills ICT Level 1
