Role / Duties: General administration work including:
  • Using a computer 
  • Dealing with customers & visitors face to face and on the telephone 
  • Monitor stationery supplies 
  • Data input 
  • General office duties 
  • Maintaining security & confidentiality 
  • Providing excellent customer service 
As a Sales Administrator, you may also undertake several other roles, including: 
  • Assisting the Sales Manager and/or the Construction/Long Term Hire Account Manager in the day to day running of the company's sales department, as and where directed
  • Researching upcoming projects and company competitors
  • Accurately update internal information which is used by the Sales Account Managers  
Required Skills / Experience:
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • GCSE pass or equivalent in Maths 
  • Good interpersonal skills 
  • IT & keyboard skills 
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
  • Adaptable, able to deal with changes to role as/when required
  • Good organisational skills
  • Strong sense of customer service to follow a contact through all stages, ensuring a client is fully satisfied 
Prospects: To progress onto a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship and to work permanently within the team
Training Involved: Apprenticeship – 12 month programme of work based learning where you will gain the following qualifications:
  • Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration
  • EDI Level 2 certificate in Principles of Business and Administration (5 units tested by multiple choice exams)
  • Functional Skills English Level 1
  • Functional Skills Maths Level 1
  • Functional Skills ICT Level 1

Days/Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Monday - Friday, 8.30am-5.00pm
