Role / Duties: The job purpose will be to undertake training with the view to provide administrative support to the team in order to maintain Stobart Rail's integrated management systems.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Assist in the administration of the process for technical documents received and generated by Stobart Rail providing accurate, traceable and readily retrievable evidentiary records.
  • Receive and review technical documents and issue to relevant internal/external parties.
  • Comply with the requirements of Company Procedure SRP83 Control of Technical Documents and Operating Instruction SR0146 Utilisation of Technical Document Database.
  • Assist in the tracking of suppliers of RRV and RMMM Supplier Status Spreadsheet.
  • Assist in the completion of client approval questionnaires
  • Collate, maintain and record Customer Satisfaction Surveys/feedback and produce analysis for Management Review
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the requirements of certification bodies including Link Up, BSI Standards, Principle Contractor and Plant Operator Schemes.
  • To carry out any additional duties agreed with your line manager.  
Required Skills / Experience:
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • GCSE pass or equivalent in Maths 
  • Good interpersonal skills 
  • IT & keyboard skills 
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
Prospects: To progress onto a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
Training Involved: Apprenticeship – 12 month programme of work based learning where you will gain the following qualifications:
  • Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration
  • EDI Level 2 certificate in Principles of Business and Administration (5 units tested by multiple choice exams)
  • Functional Skills English Level 1
  • Functional Skills Maths Level 1
  • Functional Skills ICT Level 1

Days/Hours: 30 Hours minimum, Monday - Friday
