Pay: Minimum £2.68 per hour (£2.73 as of 01/10/2014) (Apprenticeship Wage)
Role / Duties: Working as part of the Business Development Team at RWP Training LTD, supporting them to provide an effective and professional service to potential learners and employers.

Basic duties - 
  • To effectively communicate with internal and external colleagues using the telephone, memos, e-mail and other electronic communication.
  • Deal with all incoming calls when another member of staff is not available.
  • To check RMS System daily and print new applications.
  • To input applications into the ACT® software on arrival, keep ACT ® software up to date with details from the minute sheets and update application status to INACTIVE when the applicant has withdrawn.
  • To arrange and administer initial assessments for new applicants.
  • To arrange learner interviews for Learner & Employer Engagement Officer
  • To prepare profiles for successful applicants.
  • Book rooms for Business Development
  • Send correspondence to applicants to inform successful or unsuccessful.
  • Assist with organising candidates interviews with employers.
  • Check and submit weekly reports to SMT.
  • Add new vacancies onto the website and board, keeping these up to date at all times.
  • Assist in the design and development of marketing material.
  • To file documents relating to potential trainees or employers, and ensure that the files are kept up-to-date.
  • To maintain the Business Development Team filing system in good condition.
  • To ensure that the recruitment flyer stand is up to date with relevant information.
  • To accompany the Learner & Employer Engagement Officer to schools and career fairs to make young people aware of apprenticeships offered by RWP Training Limited.
  • To effectively communicate with internal and external colleagues using the telephone, memos, e-mail and other electronic communication.
  • To keep a stock of pre-prepared employer folders for employer visits
  • Not to disclose any personal information regarding other members of staff, trainees, or customers without the prior consent of the Head of Business Development.
  • To assist other administrative staff with their duties and provide cover during lunch breaks and periods of absence as required.
Required Skills / Experience:
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • GCSE C and above or equivalent in Maths & English
  • Good interpersonal skills 
  • IT & keyboard skills 
  • Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
Prospects: To progress onto a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
Training Involved: Apprenticeship – 12 month programme of work based learning where you will gain the following qualifications:
  • Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration
  • EDI Level 2 certificate in Principles of Business and Administration (5 units tested by multiple choice exams)
  • Functional Skills English Level 1
  • Functional Skills Maths Level 1
  • Functional Skills ICT Level 1
  • ERR Workbook
  • PLTS
  • Be Safe
Days/Hours: 8.45am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday
