RWP Training Limited is a well established training and development organisation specialising in the field of competence based development programmes. It has emerged as a result of its innovative approach to training and accreditation towards national competence based standards. The company operates from modern office and training facilities on Chertsey Hill, London Road, Carlisle, Cumbria (UK) and has an extensive network of professional Consultants and Associates who service the whole of the North West of England.
To ensure that we are representative of the areas in which we operate, it is the Company's policy to recruit local people, skilled and experienced in their field. The Company employs 16 full time staff and an increasing number of experienced associates.
Although RWP Training Limited is nationally recognised for its expertise and quality of provision relating to National Standards, it also has a wealth of experience in the delivery of NVQ related training and development programmes including government-funded work based training for young people (Apprenticeships).

Our Strategy
Our strategy is to be at the forefront of all activities with which we are involved, and as a 'people' business we clearly understand the requirement to remain sensitive to the needs and aspirations of the customer who always benefit from our services.
Our 3 year development plan 2003 - 2006 produced in September 2003 includes eight strategic objectives.
- To generate growth in government funded work based training provision and increase share in selected occupational programme areas to meet local economic demands.
- To create expansion and better co-ordination of activities within the community through improved liaison with schools, employers and partner organisations.
- To maintain an effective and well respected organisation with high levels of staff expertise, motivation, efficiency and performance.
- To achieve greater recognition through improved management practice, quality assurance and enhancement processes.
- To ensure the physical environment is fully accessible, fit for purpose and conducive for work, learning and planned provision.
- To maintain financial viability and generate a reserve for stability and future investment.
- To widen participation in learning and promote social inclusion and equality of opportunity both in the delivery of our programmes and partnership activities.
- To maintain high standards of health and safety and ensure a safe and healthy environment of all staff, learners and sub-contractors
Our Policy
It is the policy of RWP Training Limited to place quality of provision above all other objectives. We have been inspected by the Adult Learning Inspectorate, the Governments agency who monitor the quality of work based learning provision in England and Wales, and have been awarded Grade 2s (Good Provision) for all aspects of our work. We are also monitored by the Learning and Skills Council and have been assessed as offering 'Strong Provision' in each occupational area we deliver.
Our Accreditation
RWP Training Limited has been accredited by the University of Oxford, Cambridge and RSA (OCR), ILM Management, EMTA Awards Limited and City & Guilds for the delivery of National Vocational Qualifications. This accreditation involves providing evidence of quality assurance systems in accordance with the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) and OCR requirements. Additionally RWP Training Limited has developed its own quality assurance systems and procedures and is committed to the 'Total Quality' ethic.
Our Position
We take pride in our position as a local organisation working to national standards, but we appreciate that the local dimension is paramount. Meeting local needs is our objective and we do everything possible to ensure that we make a positive and fitting contribution to the communities we serve.
RWP Training Limited assist individuals and organisations to identify the best development option based on their individual requirements and then work with them to help develop the appropriate systems necessary for implementation of the chosen option. We are therefore continually extending the range of services and therefore are keen to identify suitably qualified and experienced individuals who can help us achieve this aim.
