Policy Statement

RWP Training Limited are committed to maintain a high standard of health, safety and welfare for its employees, learners and subcontractors and will comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and with all its statutory provisions. All employees, learners and subcontractors are required to assist in achieving this aim.

This policy is implemented through our Health and Safety Officer who will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the policy in line with our health and safety procedures.

  • We will formally assess risks and put in place control measures to prevent or reduce risks.

  • We will make adequate arrangements for dealing with accidents and incidents, including the provision of first aid.

  • We will ensure employees and learners are provided with effective supervision, training, information and instruction.

  • We will provide and maintain suitable and appropriate equipment and machinery which is safe and without risks to health.

  • We will ensure staff and learners are provided with, and where necessary use, appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing.

  • We will make arrangements to safeguard staff and learners in the event of fire and other foreseeable emergencies.

  • We will provide a safe and healthy working environment.

  • We will effectively manage health and safety and consult and communicate with employees and learners to ensure they participate in health and safety.

  • We will effectively manage learners’ and young persons’ health, safety and welfare and identify any necessary prohibitions and restrictions that apply to any learner and/or young person.

  • We will not tolerate bullying, harassment or violence in any form and will provide a framework to assist in the prevention and provide guidance should such incidences occur.
