Role / Duties:

You’ll play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, ensuring the office runs like clockwork and our customers are always happy. Providing exceptional administrative support, you’ll handle enquiries, paperwork and with progression to sales tasks, with a ‘can-do’ proactive enthusiasm. You will receive full training as part of a friendly supportive team and will have an excellent telephone manner and a flexible, people-orientated approach to everything you do. Above all though, you’ll relish the challenge of being part of a truly customer-focused, ambitious team.

  • Answering the phone
  • Meeting customers in the office
  • Training to progress with handling insurance queries from customers
  • Administration support within the office
  • Personal assistant tasks
  • Diary organisation
  • Using office equipment e.g. photocopier, scanner, laminator
  • Input data
  • Training on NFU Mutual insurance products. 
  • Required Skills / Experience/ Personal Qualities:
    • Sound written and verbal communication skills
    • Maths and English GCSE A*-C or 9-4
    • Good interpersonal skills 
    • IT & keyboard skills 
    • Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team
    • Demonstrate attributes of honesty, integrity, due skill, care and diligence
    Prospects: To progress onto a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship
    Training Involved: Apprenticeship – 12 month programme of work based learning where you will gain the following qualifications:
    • Level 2 Certificate in Business and Administration
    • Functional Skills English Level 1
    • Functional Skills Maths Level 1
    • Functional Skills ICT Level 1
    • Employer Rights and Responsibilities Workbook
    • Personal Learning Thinking Skills
    • Be Safe
    Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5pm
